This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from daisylaneflorals.com.au (the “Site”).

Personal Information we Collect:
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use Your Personal Information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:


- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

 

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing Your personal Information:

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Data Retention:
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes:
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Refund Policy

All refunds and returns are dealt with and decided on a case by case basis, but the following outline our policies and procedures to ensure a smooth process should a refund or return be deemed necessary.

Satisfaction Guarantee:
If you're not completely satisfied, all you have to do is contact us. We promise that if your unhappiness is any fault of ours, we'll offer to put things right with a full refund or a replacement.

Mistakes During Ordering:
Mistakes happen, we understand! So if you make an error during ordering, such as add an additional item by mistake or put in the incorrect delivery date, please get in contact as soon as possible and we'd be happy to make those changes for you up until the order is onboard with the delivery driver.

Sometimes we'll notice what appears to be a mistake, in which case, we'll attempt to make contact with you to clarify your order. If we are unable to make contact or don't hear back from you before the order is placed onboard with our delivery driver we will assume the order is correct and send it as ordered.

Cancelling Orders:
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We will be able to offer a full refund as long as the following conditions are met:

  • We cannot cancel an order or issue a refund for items that have already been delivered.

  • If your order is already onboard with the courier you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the order total so that we can recover delivery costs and cost of goods sold.

  • For orders totalling under $200.00 (AUD) you will not be charged a cancellation fee as long as the item is not already on board with the courier or has not already been delivered.

  • For orders totalling over $200.00 (AUD) you will not be charged a cancellation fee as long as you cancel the delivery by midnight(AEST) the night before the specified delivery date. If you cancel on the day of delivery, provided the order is not already on board with the courier or has not already been delivered, you will be charged 50% of the total amount of the order. The remaining 50% of order total will be returned to your account.

Substitutions:
Whilst we make every effort to do our very best to ensure your chosen colour and flowers are sent out, from time to time due to seasonal variety and availability we are unable to match the request. Because we receive flowers fresh daily and create our arrangements on the day of delivery we sometimes only find out on the morning of delivery that our suppliers haven't been able to fulfil our requested order.

In these cases, when we need to make substantial substitutions, we endeavour to make contact with you to ensure that a replacement of flower type or colour is acceptable and we will happily refund the order in full if it is not, or arrange for an alternative flower arrangement to be delivered, provided you are able to get back to us before your order is placed onboard with our drivers for delivery. If we don't hear back from you before the delivery is onboard, we will assume you have accepted the changes as per our terms and conditions.
We have put in place methods and procedures to ensure that substitution rarely occurs and are always working to minimise this as we know the importance of sending the product as chosen.

After Delivery:
Due to the organic nature of most of our products (including flowers, flower arrangements and plants), time is of the essence in establishing what may have gone wrong. It is therefore essential that you contact us within 72 hours of delivery if you have any cause for concern with regards to the quality or condition of the flowers received. This allows us to diagnose the potential issue and assess an offer of replacement.

After contacting us with your concerns, you will be asked to provide a photo of the flowers so that we can assess what might have gone wrong.

Wedding Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms: 

  • A booking is confirmed upon payment of the non-refundable Deposit. Upon paying your deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.

  • Payment can be made by cash or direct deposit or Credit card (with a fee of 3% for all credit cards). 

  • The balance is payable no later than 30 days prior to your wedding date into our nominated bank account. If balance is not paid at this time, Daisy lane Florals will allow you to have until 2 weeks before to pay balance out of good faith. If at this stage no owing money is paid, your booking will be void and no flowers will be supplied. 

  • Your wedding should be booked at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding. This gives us time to pre-order your flowers & reserve your special day in our calendar. 

  • By giving us your photographer's name, we can contact them in regards to using a few photos (will only be of flowers, bride and groom - unless told otherwise). If you don't put their name, then we will contact you about using one or two photos of the flowers to showcase our work. 

  • All final changes must be made no later than 30 days prior (4 weeks) to your wedding date. 

  

Cancellations:

  • 30 days or more prior to date: all money besides the booking fee ($200 non-refundable) will be returned within 14 days (allowing for bank transfer days) and booking will be cancelled.

  • Cancellations WITHIN 30 days of your date, all money that has been paid at this time will be kept for admin fees and wholesaler payments for your supplies. Your booking will be cancelled. 

 

Change of dates:

  • If Daisy Lane Florals is available, we can change dates. If not enough time given, or not available (and no agreement to a new date is made), your booking is cancelled and ALL money paid at this point will be kept. 

  • Change of Dates within 2 weeks of wedding will void any refund due to stock being ordered from suppliers (Daisy Lane Florals holds the right to charge you any extra fees charged to us by suppliers for canceling orders).

 

Delivery, set up & Collection: 

  • Daisy Lane Florals will not leave bridal party blooms at venues, churches, reception areas. Someone within the bridal party must confirm the order before Daisy Lane Florals leaves. 

  • Daisy Lane Florals will try our very best to have your deliveries on time, we will not incur any liability for non- delivery of goods/ services due to the following reasons which is out of our control; delays due to riot, state of war, civil disorder, fire, flood, traffic accidents, equipment break down, actions of Government/civil authorities, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and any other acts we cannot control. 

  • Wedding Flower deliveries and Reception Set ups can be slightly delayed due to unexpected circumstances. Please be aware we always allow enough time for small delays, but we cannot control large traffic conditions, we will not be held liable for any heavy vehicle or traffic accidents. Daisy Lane Florals will contact all involved if we are delayed for any reason.

  • If florals are used for the wedding or event then a refund will not be negotiated. Only when said florals have not been used will a refund be discussed.

  • Surcharge applies if venue’s policy states that hired stock must be collected at the completion of the wedding or outside normal store trading hours. Otherwise hired stock / vases being used will be collected the next Business day from the venue. 

  • Preparation, delivery & collection on a public holiday will attract a surcharge. 

Product Substitution & Availability 

  • Daisy Lane Florals will make every possible effort to deliver flowers exactly as ordered. Very rarely (due to circumstances out of our control) may an ordered flower or colour be unavailable. 

  • If any said issues arrive, Daisy Lane Florals will only communicate with the bride/groom and no communication will be had with friends or family.  Daisy Lane Florals will not be held accountable for flowers/colours and will not issue refunds based on this. 

  • All flowers and products are subject to seasonal quality and availability (which can change year to year due to weather) If not available at the time of your wedding you will be contacted. If required a consultation will be arranged to discuss alternative options. 

  • Colours and Size of all flowers may vary each season, and can be slightly lighter or brighter, larger or smaller than the original photo. Daisy Lane Florals accepts no responsibility for these variations which are out of our control. 

  • The bridal bouquet sizes are a guide, the actual size may vary from each wedding due to the flowers used, and the sizes of those flowers. Your bouquets may be slightly larger or smaller than guided. This is out of our control. 

  • Daisy Lane Florals accepts no responsibility for variation in bouquet sizes.

  • Once florals have been delivered, you are accepting you are happy with said florals delivered and if florals are used then no refund will be available. 

  • Containers and vases may change due to supplier issues, Daisy Lane Florals will substitute the selected product with items of greater or equal value. 

  • Daisy Lane Florals does not accept liability for any flowers perishing quickly in cases of extreme heat (28 degrees and over) or incorrect storage after delivery/ set up. Once florals have been delivered Daisy Lane Florals are no longer responsible for any florals.  

  • Daisy Lane Florals cannot be liable for any Emotional, physical or financial distress due to any unforeseen circumstances listed in this contract.
